I'm trying to see if the Depo-shot has to do birth control provision of osteoporosis. I searched but I come with empty hands. I thought someone else might know something about it.

Depo Provera increases the risk of osteoporosis. It should be 800 mg of calcium per day.
I do not know if Depo can jump from osteoporosis, but I know that Depo can leach calcium from the body, we strongly recommend that if you are on Depo, also takes a calcium as well.
The use of Depo Provera, for a specified period (over 2 years) can lead to bone loss. Be easily prevented with supplemental calcium and vitamin D
I'm not sure. I only know that Depo must provide calcium from the bones. Who is thinner type of birth control is a calcium increase.
